Helen Thomas-Jones is Assistant Principal & Director of Sixth Form at Thomas Paine Sixth Form and an experienced teacher of performing arts.

Helen has worked in various schools in Norfolk and Suffolk and held numerous roles including Curriculum Leader for Performing Arts, Pastoral Leader and held the position as Chair of Governors of a primary school in Norfolk.  Helen loves working at Thetford Academy because of the school's dedicated staff team and hardworking and well-mannered students. She is passionate about raising achievement and helping students accomplish their ambitions. She cares about the destinies of the students and the journey they take to get there.

She endeavours to empower students to make informed choices about their futures. Helen believes that a healthy sense of well-being is immanent to a students academic success and personal development.
