Subject Information

The media saturates everything we do in the developed world in the 21st Century. You will learn to analyse and critique the media and see the ways in which the media pervades your lives. You are invited to make their own films, newspapers, or even music videos. 

What will I study?

There are four parts to A-Level Media Studies. You will study:

• Media Language
• Representation
• Audiences
• Industry.

What can I do with Media Studies?

People who study Media Studies go on to a range of courses in the future, including university degrees in Media Studies, Journalism, Literature, Film Studies and many others.
