Subject Information

Further Maths broadens and deepens the mathematical knowledge and skills developed when studying A-level Maths. This exciting course will introduce you to imaginary numbers, matrices and hyperbolic functions.

What will I study?

The course consists of Pure Mathematics and two applied topics from Statistics, Mechanics or Discrete Maths. 

What can I do with A-Level maths?

People who study Further Maths go on to a range of courses in the future, it is a must for anyone planning on studying degree level Mathematics or those that are strongly mathematically related such as Engineering.
