Meet Our Team

As Deputy SENDCo, I work with the Thomas Paine Sixth Form team to ensure our sixth form students have the appropriate provisions in place to support both their academic progress and personal wellbeing. This includes creating individual learning plans with students to enable them to fully access the curriculum, wider TP6 life and next steps to Post-18. In addition, I help monitor and test for exam access arrangements.

I have been a sixth form tutor at Thetford for eight years, supporting our students’ pastorally, and providing guidance with personal statement writing for the UCAS process. I am also a member of the English department, having taught A-Level English for ten years.

I have a passion for supporting our students’ Post-16 journey, and enjoy being part of their development to adulthood, including celebrating milestones and supporting them with their preparation for Post-18 options.
